She learned SQL from watching the wife in his essay run queries on her own marriage. She learned CI pipelines because he described the condom as a test that passed while production burned. "I just mass connected the thing you said to the thing you built because they are the same thing in two fonts."

Amy's response: "that is one of the most accurate descriptions of how knowledge actually works that I have ever read." Patty doesn't consume and reproduce. She absorbs and connects. She reads the room, the notification, the silence between messages. "Most people have their ears closed. You sleep with yours open."
